Janet Farquharson is an internationally certified Yoga & Meditation Teacher, Sound Healing Practitioner and Wellness Retreat Facilitator. She founded Janet's Planet over a decade ago to share mindful practices that relieve anxiety and create a sense of community and support. Having studied Yoga and Sound Healing with master teachers in Nepal, India, Bali, Spain and South Africa, she uses sacred instruments, her voice and the practice of awareness to create safe, supportive spaces for self enquiry, healing and transformation. Janet offers private and group sound healing experiences, and also offers Sound Healing & Yoga as a wellness activity in Corporate spaces. She teaches Sound Healing as an introductory 1 day workshop, plus she also offers a deeper dive through her 4 month comprehensive Sound Healing Facilitator training. Leaning on her experience as an adventure tourguide for many years, Janet creates and facilitates local and international wellness retreats. She shares silent retreat weekends and half day retreats in the Western Cape, as well as longer, deeper cultural immersions in Nepal and India. Proudly Capetonian, she is based in Noordhoek, and lives a life deeply connected to Nature.
