Iyengar, Vinyasa & Power Yoga

Yoga is a lifetime journey ,that has spanned over 2 decades , and yet it continues to still Delight , Entice and Surprise me! I have come to realise that our relationship with our physical body is a phenomenal reflection of our relationship with our life – I teach from my heart, inspired by 12 years of practicing Iyengar yoga , completing 2 Vinyasa Teacher Trainings, a Synergy Teachers training, with Jim Harrington yoga & a Forrest Yoga Training, with Ana Forrest .

Iyengar yoga was a perfect foundation of understanding precision and alignment of the poses; Synergy helped me further understand a safe effective use of the spine and the Anatomy trains adding a flavour of strength and grace ; Forrest Yoga opened the doorway to the emotional component connection of the practice and Vinyasa weaved through the movement and flow in a class.

Yoga teaches one strength, flexibility, courage and compassion.

I teach regular classes at Hot Dog Yoga Studio, in Sea Point and at The Yoga room , in Vredehoek. In addition, I love teaching Workshops and hosting local and overseas Retreats, allowing for a greater immersion and understanding of the Practice and of Self.
