Spread more love with conscious gifting
1. SET A PRECEDENT and invite the entire family to restrict their gift giving to items they already have. For example, wrap up that vase your sister loves, the woolie hat you never wear that’s perfect for a nephew, that hobby you bought and never started. We all have too much stuff that could do with being repurposed. It’s a great way to prevent unnecessary consumerism and spread more love with conscious gifting.
2. QUALITY TIME is what counts most to some. Help Granny set up her email, teach someone to make pasta, take your nieces to yoga, blow up 100 balloons with the little cousins. Just for once, make an effort to listen to the boring Uncle. Visit an orphanage and see what’s required to help. Offer a session in a soup kitchen or a sandwich making initiative.

8. LOVE & APPRECIATION can be directed to any of the hundreds of listed charities. Find a local one in your community and make a donation of time, money or recycled goods. You don’t have to go on a shopping spree to give a gift worth having.
