CHAGA ROOIBOS LATTE caffeine-free healing treat.
This super smooth Rooibos Chaga latte is perfect for natural energy, fertility and hormonal balance. The mix of chaga and maca is a great caffeine-free, energising replacement for your morning coffee with added cinnamon and Rooibos to improve blood pressure and circulation. It is particularly good for healing symptoms relating to menstruation and menopause.
INGREDIENTS – Makes 1 cup
2 tsps chaga
1 rooibos teabag
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup almond milk or coconut milk
3/4 tsp maca powder
1 tsp cacoa butter
2 small pitted dates
1/2 tsp ceylon cinnamon
PREPARATION
1. Add the Chaga powder and Rooibos teabag to the coffee press and then pour boiling water in the press.
2. Brew for 5 minutes.
3. Add the rest of the ingredients to the blender.
4. When the chaga and Rooibos has brewed, add it to the blender and blend until frothy
5. Pour into a mug. It’s ready to drink
PREPARATION TIP
Chaga can be made in a French press, just like ground coffee or using a slow brew method. For slow brew, use 1 tablespoon of chaga per 4 cups of water. Simmer for 3 hours and strain.
